Rural Georgia Export Flow

Step 1

Start by preparing your Georgia-made products to meet international standards for quality, packaging, and documentation.

Step 2

Goods are picked up and routed via truck to: Austell Inland Port (Atlanta) or Appalachian Regional Port (ARP).

Georgia is expanding its rail‑connected inland terminals: ARP expansion and the upcoming Blue Ridge Connector near Gainesville ensure improved rural trade logistics.

Step 3

Once loaded, the container makes its way to the Port of Savannah via Georgia’s inland rail system.

Step 4

Cargo is loaded onto a ship for export at Garden City Terminal, bound for an international port.

Step 5

After arriving at the destination port, Georgia-made products are delivered to global buyers, distributors, and retailers.
